Improvements to your grounds maintenance services

We apologise that our grounds maintenance – grass cutting and maintaining external communal areas around your home – has not been at a high standard over recent weeks. Please be assured that resolving this is a high priority for both whg and our contractors Continental.

We have taken feedback from customers very seriously and have agreed key actions which aim to bring the service back in line with the expected standards by the end of June.

  • The wet weather in early spring caused Continental to fall behind on their grass cutting schedule. We have agreed a new schedule with Continental, and they have increased the number of staff, machinery and vehicles allocated to our communities so they will be able to get back on track quickly. This will be monitored by our Neighbourhood Services team.
  • We have regular meetings booked in with Continental to ensure grounds maintenance remains on schedule, and that our neighbourhoods remain clean and safe places to live.

whg will be re-tendering for this service over the course of the next year with a view to a new contract starting in April 2025. We welcome your feedback and input into this. If you would like to contribute, please contact Customervoice@whgrp.co.uk
