whg welcomes new Chair and Corporate Director

Midlands-based housing association whg is delighted to announce Gary Moreton as its new Chair of the Board and Lisa Wallis as Corporate Director of People and Learning.

Gary, a retired chartered accountant and audit partner at RSM, joined the Board in July 2019 and was elected Deputy Chair in June 2020. He succeeds Danielle Oum who stepped down at the end of an accomplished three year term to take on a new role as Chair of Coventry and Warwickshire ICS.

Lisa joins the organisation from Community Health Partnerships, part of the Department of Health and Social Care, where she was Director of People and Organisational Development. She brings with her 25 years’ experience and knowledge within senior HR roles.

Chief Executive Gary Fulford said: “Both Gary and Lisa bring with them a wealth of experience. I look forward to the knowledge and guidance they will provide as we work towards achieving our ambitions set out in our Corporate Plan.”
